Acknowledgements & More Links
The majority of links in this website I have learned about from educators in my professional/digital learning network. These educators are from all around the world, and represent a wide range of grade levels an content areas. It was their generous sharing that motivated me to create this website. I must also credit North Carolina educator, Kelly Hines, for the inspiration she provided with her outstanding wiki, The File Cabinet.
The first place I bookmark sites is in my diigo account. Diigo is a web app that lets you bookmark sites so you can access them from anywhere, and more importantly, share with others. In addition to bookmarking sites, you can also tag them by any categories you choose to help you (and others) find them later. Any sites I want to add to Famliy Fun Learning are tagged parents. So, instead of clicking through the pages here, you could go to my diigo account, type "parents" in the box at the top, and you would get this result. You can also search by reading, booklists, or any other tag in the list at the right of my diigo page.
Not every link in my diigo account is here in Family Fun Learning, so please feel welcome to check out my links as well as the links of my friends.
